How To Book The Gravedigger Ghost Bus

Scare attractions have become exceptionally popular around the world now and Dublin is no exception. Dublin's premier ghost bus, The Gravedigger Ghost Tour is one of the most highly rated attractions in Tripadvisor and one of the most visited of Dublin's hundreds of tours on offer.

There are several ways of booking the Gravedigger Ghost Bus Tour. The first is of course to go online to the website and book it that way. For this you will need a credit or debit card that you can use online. You can find the website by googling Gravedigger Ghost Bus. The second is to call up the number on the website and make your booking over the phone. If you do it this way there is the option to pay cash on the night of the tour, but you will still need to give credit or debit card details over the phone to secure your booking. The third way is to rock up to one of the tourist offices in Dublin. One tourist office is at College Green right across the road from Trinity College, the other is right next to the Spire of Dublin on the corner of Henry Street and O'Connell Street. Here you can pay for your tour in cash or by credit/debit card. Whichever you prefer.

The multitude of ways to pay for the Gravedigger Ghost Bus means that there is a way that makes everyone comfortable. I know I don't love giving my credit card details over the phone, and as a traveller people don't always have access to the internet so it's great to be able to use one of Dublin's many high quality services offered to travellers

Gravedigger Ghost Bus Dublin Offers - Most Popular Ghost Tour in Town

The Gravedigger Ghost Bus Dublin's newest ghost tour is a must try. It has very quickly become the most popular ghost bus Dublin has to offer.

The Gravedigger is a breath of fresh air for those sick of ghost tours on buses which cater for very small children. This tour is definitely more adult oriented, and therefore more exciting, naughty and funny than any other tour around Dublin at the moment.

From the moment you enter the Gravedigger ghost bus Dublin of old comes alive all around you. You enter a candlelit crypt with very convincing skeletons resting against walls. The interior of the bus is beyond belief it is so well done. I hesitate to call it 'decoration' because the way the Gravedigger has managed to transform a double decker bus into a tomb is really just incredible. The word 'decoration' definitely doesn't do the interior justice at all.

Right from the word go, before the tour has even started the scares begin, with one of them taking place before you have even found your seat. The actors are 'on' the whole time. I don't know where Hidden Dublin managed to source their actors but they are so clever and witty. It would not surprise me at all if the actors on this tour were stand up comedians in a previous life, as throughout the whole tour the banter is of such a high level it is breathtaking. There is always some clever character in the audience who comes up with a witty one liner and every single time the actors shoot back immediately with the most ferocious of humourous responses. The audience was in stitches so much of the time. This is the sort of banter that is so perfect that if you didn't know better, you would assume it was scripted. The actors clever responses are the sort of responses that you think of one week later and wish you had thought of sooner. They are truly masters of their art.

To add to this, the locations are fantastic, the actors open up the old medieval city gate so that the audience can experience the claustrophobic atmosphere of the steps to St Audoen's Church, Bully's Acre and Kilmainham Jail, Glasnevin Cemetery and the highlight of the trip the Gravediggers pub are all fantastic. The Gravedigger's Pub is a pub that very few tourists will ever make it out to, which is a real shame as it is the most quaint, most traditional little pub anyone could ever hope to come to in their lifetime. There is a decent stop at this site, everyone has time to get a pint and soak up the atmosphere before heading back into the city centre to finish the tour.

With the unending five star reviews this ghost tour has garnered on Tripadvisor it might not be much of a stretch to say that the Gravedigger Ghost Bus Dublin offers is the premier ghost bus tour, nay, the premier tour perhaps, that Dublin has available to the discerning visitor.
